Description:

Minaj & Ensemble Resonanz Mozart's Three Great Symphonies! Vivid contrasts! The Ensemble Resonanz, led by Minaj, presents a remarkable new recording of Mozart's Three Great Symphonies. The ensemble's performance of C.P.E. Bach (HMM 902331 / KKC 5913), which also includes Kellas' solo concerto, and Haydn's Last Seven Words on the Cross (HMM 902633), both of which are sharp and richly resonant, strike at the heart of the works. Here, too, he sticks to a modern instrumental approach and plays these three works, which have already been recorded in vast numbers and are often performed in concert, with a freshness that makes the scales fall from your eyes. The contrasts (chords and passages, intensity and weakness, etc.) in No. 39 are superb. The famous "sprinting" beginning of No. 40, which makes one's hands sweat, is followed by an unexpected footstep. The tutti in No. 41 is a heart-throb of a piece, and the way the character of each theme is played is superb, and the way the strings play each running phrase is so effective that one cannot take one's ears off.Every element Mozart wrote in the score sounded vividly and vividly, even the slightest ritardando. It was natural to the last detail. The skill of each member is outstanding. A brand-new Trio of Symphonies is here! Minaj noted that Arnoncourt had explained the relevance of these three works and the meaning of playing them in succession, and also noted that in the same year that these three works were composed, Mozart had asked Count Sviten to perform C.P.E. Bach's oratorio, "Die Auferstehung und Himmelfahrt Jesu (The Resurrection and Ascension of Jesus)" by C.P.E. Bach. Minaj says that the influence of this work on these three works can be considered significant. The opening of No. 39, which is reminiscent of a French overture, No. 40, in which various elements are associated with the Passion of Christ, and the finale of No. 41, which is related to Gregorian chant.... The orchestra plays for the ideal sound, from the passing of passages between parts to the transitions between parts. The Friedrich-Ebert-Halle, where the recording was made, is a historic hall where the famous Wandt has also made recordings. The acoustics are also noteworthy. Minaj was born in 1978. He is one of the world's most talented musicians. As a violinist, he has played the first violin in such prestigious period instrument ensembles as the Concerto de Nación led by Savall, the Concerto Italiano, and the Accademia Visantina. She also served as assistant to the orchestra conductor, first violin, and curator for Bartoli's recording of "Norma," and since 2017 has been artist-in-residence at the Ensemble Resonanz (Hamburg).
