Description:
Pichon & Pygmalion, led by Pichon, the standard-bearer of the classical music world, depicts the horrors and consolations of "Hades" with excerpts from operas by Rameau and Gluck, each time with an elaborate concept disc and sharp performances that are rapidly gaining popularity. This time, the popular French bass Stéphane Dugout makes his Harmonie Mundi debut with a program that explores the various faces of Hades. Dugoux's dramatic, tenor-like singing, with its bouncy, lush bass, is like a reincarnation of Henri Larivet (1737-1802), who has left his mark on history as a bass singer in the era of Rameau and Gluck. Pichon has created an imaginary mass by excerpting famous scenes from the operas of Rameau and Gluck (mainly the hell scene), instrumental pieces, and movements from the Requiem based on Rameau's opera, which was arranged at the time. The program opens with a lament sung by Dugout, followed by Rubel's "Chaos" of the four elements, which leaves the audience in a state of fear, but closes with the entrance of Polymny, the goddess of sacred poetry and hymns, with her elegant and gentle music, leaving the audience with a feeling of being transported to the heavens. The audience can finish the program with a feeling of being transported to heaven. King International
