The 'Flowers of Milte' composed in the year of Schumann's marriage (1840) is full of euphoria, while the 'Six Poems and Requiem' op.90 (1850), written as a memorial to Lenau (1802-1850), has a dark sense of despair. The songs of Schumann's "Six Poems and Requiem" op. 90 (1850), written in memory of Schumann, reflect his state of mind at the time, and all of them are highly artistic. Gernet delves into the world of Schumann's songs through a thought-provoking program that traces Schumann's life. The perfect control is overwhelming.
