North American progressive rock/progressive hard band formed in '69 by Massey brothers Bill (b/sax/vo) & Duane (key/tp/dr/vo), active until early 80's but revived in late 00's. Released on their own label Ozone. Their debut album in '75 was re-released on CD in '23 from PROGAOR in the U.K. The original was a North American progressive rock/progressive hard band. The original is one of the collector's items among North American progressive rock albums, featuring Duane's key and Richard Haeth's (g/vo) guitars in a spacy progressive hard sound throughout. The three-part suite 'Doodley Squart' on the album's B-side, 'For Pat', 'Second Time Blues', and many other tracks are full of technical and thrilling solos and ensemble exchanges, and although there are still some production laxities that could only be attributed to the band's independence, the album is a great example of the depth and breadth of the North American scene at that time. Although there are still some production shortcomings, this is a hidden masterpiece that shows the depth of the North American scene at that time.
