Aristo Sham entered the Junior Music Program at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts at age 6. He won the Ettlingen International Youth Piano Competition at age 10 and the Gina Bachauer International Junior Piano Competition at age 12.He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Harvard University and a Master of Music in Piano Performance from the New England Conservatory of Music. He subsequently obtained an Artist Diploma from The Juilliard School.
