From the world-famous “Psychedelic Rock” to “Uneminuteeternelle,” and including the previously unreleased remix “Varience” from his seminal work *Variations on a Door and a Sigh*, this album provides the key to a stimulating and captivating world of sound. Pierre Henry was a French composer of contemporary music. He studied at the Paris Conservatory under Olivier Messiaen and Nadia Boulanger. Along with Pierre Schaeffer, he is regarded as a pioneer of “musique concrète,” a branch of electronic music. The two composed the first masterpiece of electronic music, *Symphony for a Man*. Nine years later, Henri established his own studio, “APSOME,” and devoted himself to experimental and electroacoustic music. He passed away on July 5, 2017, at the age of 89. This 2-LP set on 140g black vinyl includes four bonus tracks exclusive to the LP version, three of which are previously unreleased recordings. Universal Music/IMS
