Lauritzen served as composer-in-residence for the Los Angeles Master Chorale from 1994 to 2001 and was awarded the National Medal of Arts in 2007. He has served as a professor in the Composition Department at the University of Southern California for over 40 years. This collection features a carefully curated selection of Lorizen’s globally popular pieces—calming, serene, and exceptionally beautiful. Two of the pieces are world premiere recordings.
