Sunlight, psychedelic, lo-fi and dreamy boogie funk! Mystic Jungle by Dario di Pace, who has been creating addicts after addicts with his unique filtering of Italo Disco, New Wave, Reggae and Soft Rock chillout flavors from his own Periodica Records. Sunset Breaker" is the third album in three years, following "Cheetah" in 2018 and "Deviant Disco" in 2022.The album was created over a long period of time, moving between multiple recording locations due to studio closures, and the resulting variety of musical styles and ever more colorful sounds weave a fresh and adventurous narrative. Dance tracks with a proto-house flavor, such as "Secrets" and "Some Lovin'," ignite passions as guitars, saxophone, and vocals blaze away, while "Innervision" and "The Last of the Souls" are the most powerful and exciting of the album's three tracks. The band also delivers lovers rock and fluorescent new wave pop on "Innervision" and "Twilight". The ecstatic and erotic vocals transport the listener to a distant tropical land. The chill-out psychedelic folk and slow groove of "The Road" and "Get Me Higher" melt into the sunlight, and the midsummer lo-fi jams are endlessly comforting. This album will satisfy chill-out lovers, lo-fi psychedelic enthusiasts, and of course, Balearic seekers. !!!!
