Limited 2CD, in 8-panel digi-sleeve, with 24-page booklet. The tracks on this album were recorded between 1967 and 1969 and include all five sessions recorded "live" by the Ray Russell Quartet at jazz clubs during that period. It also includes tracks from his first two albums for CBS as a leader, "Turn Circle" and "Dragon Hill. Only six tracks from these sessions were released on LP as Spontaneous Event. The record is now out of print, but we were regularly asked if there were any plans to repress the album or reissue it on CD. In response to those requests, we have released it on 2CD as "The Complete" Spontaneous Event.
