Formed in Nagoya in April 1977, centered around vocalist "HIKAGE". Simultaneously, they launched the pioneering indie label and their own production company "Club The Star", releasing five singles and one live album. All of these dominated the top of the indie charts for extended periods.In October 1984, they made their major debut with the album "Hello New Punks" on Tokuma Japan! Their second album, "Punk! Punk! Punk!", released the following year in 1985, was highly acclaimed overseas, particularly in Europe. After moving to Victor in 1986, they embarked on an overseas tour spanning over a month in Australia. Despite numerous lineup changes over the years, with only original member Hikage remaining, they celebrate their 34th anniversary this year. They are truly one of Japan's, and indeed the world's, leading punk rock bands. From their inception, they have remained steadfastly committed to punk rock, consistently delivering a strong, uncompromising musical vision unaffected by trends. Their straight-ahead, speedy, powerful, and melodic sound continues to captivate punk fans of all ages and genders. Their live shows, characterized by almost no MCing and relentless, hard-hitting intensity that evokes a sense of chivalry, are an experience every rock fan should witness live at least once. Even now, celebrating their 34th anniversary, their sharp edge shows no sign of fading.The 25th anniversary album "Vanished Punk Rock?" was released on April 24, 2002. All seven past video titles were released for the first time on DVD as a box set on December 18. The subsequent 2003 original album "STYLE" was released on May 21, 2003, by SPEEDSTAR MUSIC. Additionally, the best album "ONLY S★C," a first-pressing, complete limited edition 3-disc set containing all 68 songs, was released by Victor on September 17, 2003. In 2004, after a long hiatus, they released "Who Will Kill the World?" (13 songs / CSRD-2004) on their own label "Club the Star." Then in 2006, "BREACH OF THE PEACE" (13 tracks/CSRD-2005) was released on July 7th, followed by their first self-cover album "VINTAGE BREAKER" (15 tracks) in April 2006 and the original album "GIMMICK" in July.The 30th anniversary album "Ecstasy's Redemption" was released in May 2007, "BOOSTER SHOT" in June two years ago, the best album "TYPHOON 21" in November, "CULTURE KILLER" in April 2009, and "AREA FREE" last year in 2010.
