Mari Hamada’s *INCLINATION IV* is set for release. This marks the fourth installment in the *INCLINATION* series, which began in 1994 and has been curated and produced by Mari Hamada herself as she reflects on her journey through the years. This two-disc set reinterprets the decade spanning from her 30th to her 40th anniversary from a contemporary perspective, featuring three new songs and nine previously unreleased live tracks. ■ “Celadon”: Combining selections from 2016’s *Mission*, 2018’s *Gracia*, and 2023’s *Soar* with three new songs, this tracklist centers on studio works to showcase her recent creative output and current artistic expression. The three new tracks feature a star-studded lineup of world-class artists: Chris Broderick, Michael Romeo, and Akira Takasaki on guitar; BOH and Philippe Bino on bass; Derek Sherinian on keyboards; and Hideki Harasawa and Marco Minemann on drums. ■ “Carmine”: Features live recordings from 2014 to 2023. Nine of the 13 tracks are being released for the first time. Centered on previously unreleased recordings from the 2023 “The 40th Anniversary Tour ‘Soar’” performance at Tokyo Garden Theatre, the album also includes recordings from “Billboard Classics 2016” with the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra, “Rin” from the 2016 “Mission” tour, “Stay Gold” featuring Akira Takasaki (LOUDNESS), and “Sparks” featuring Billy Sheehan (MR. BIG). This is her first live album in 41 years, since *MAGICAL MYSTERY "MARI" Mari Hamada LIVE '85*.
