KiQ's new song "Boys" written for the movie "Yossu, Omawase, See you later. KiQ's new song "Boys" written for the movie "Yossu, Omamase, See you later" (directed by Kazuma Inomata, starring Jun Hashimoto and Tomo Inaba) will be urgently released on 7inch from Raiton Records! Two catchy songs were selected from the soundtrack of the movie "Yossu, Omamase, So long" (directed by Kazuma Inomata, starring Jun Hashimoto and Tomo Inaba), which was produced by KiQ, and will be released on 7inch vinyl by Rai-On Records. The B-side "Ghost" is a swamp rock number reminiscent of 70's rock, and is played at the end of the film. Comment from Hideyasu Moto (Rai-On Records): =====KiQ's first album "FuU" released last year was a great success and a masterpiece of psychedelic/acid rock! It was a big hit. I was so impressed with the content of the album that I even did the cover illustration for it, but to tell you the truth, I am not very familiar with that side of rock music, and I was frustrated that I could not express the greatness of "FuU" loudly enough. However, when I saw KiQ live recently, I felt that the drive of KiQ's music had greatly increased since the days of "FuU" and that KiQ's musical style was getting closer to the rock music I usually listen to. Then I saw a preview of the movie "Yossu, Okaasen, See You Later! I was struck by the songs "Boys" and "Ghost" that played in the movie.I knew it! KiQ is turning into a band I should recommend, like Bad Finger! After the screening, Director Inomata asked me if I would be interested in releasing these two songs on Rai-On Records, but I didn't need him to tell me that the moment "Boys" was played in the movie, I had decided to release them on 7inch! I recommend KiQ now to all indie fans and Western music fanatics who like old rock. I hope you will listen to it on 7inch! =====
