MIKLOS's third work at Atelier Sawano, titled "Retrospective Future," was delivered. Since MIKLOS is the artist that Sawano discovered and introduced to the world, we have been particularly interested in his progress. Having watched his work up to this point, I can honestly say that he is not the type of person who would "skip a grade" in a competition. He is not dexterous, nor does he surprise those who come in contact with him by opening the drawer of his talents one after another. But that is precisely why I believe that he is definitely trying to broaden his own horizons and gain access to a larger world. His will to evolve and his continuous efforts are, of course, backed by his high aspirations. His new works clearly reflect this and leave a strong impression. Jazz standards, original numbers, and pop classics. He seeks out a variety of materials, and at the same time, by adding solo performances, he questions the possibilities of his own playing. The whole existence of MIKLOS GANYI is contained in each and every note, selected not with glittering technique, but with hesitation at times....What sincere music...! This album also marks the artist's first visit to Japan. It will be unforgettable for the listeners who will witness the performance. In the near future, after his breakthrough, his progress up to this point will surely be fondly remembered as the "Early Trilogy.
