Good sweets and favorite music always warm the hearts of those we love. Dutch pianist Jos van Beest's new work is a box of carefully crafted sweets. It is sweet and delicious and filled with many "I Love You "s. This time around, the trio is centered around a piano trio, with guitar participation on five of the twelve tracks. The original "Tokyo City Lights" is a trio number with a light 4-beat motif of Tokyo. The song is a trio number with a light four-beat beat, and the Japanese major pentatonic is used as a decorative element, creating a fusion of Western and Japanese styles that shines with a sense of style. Jos is a wonderful player who can give the best performance at any given time, depending on the composition of the instruments and the musical theme.For example, the title track "I Love You," with its guitar, has a subtle yet joyful flavor, while the John Lewis classic (M7) has a classical tone with a solo piano at the beginning, and the moment it enters the second half, the world changes to a bluesy one. The world changes to bluesy in the second half. Stevie's "Isn't She Lovely" is just a lot of fun. The "daringly unplayable sound" is very chic, and the swingin' & slightly harboring shape has a sweet, bitter, nostalgic flavor. I think it is because Jos has a beloved one that he can express so many "I Love You's".
