The beautiful and elegant standards are similar to the sparkle of the finest cocktails poured into a glass. As you lean back, a sweet, fresh, gentle breeze soothes your body and soul. The Daiquiri, Hemingway's favorite drink, is known for its simplicity and depth, and is known to trouble even the most seasoned bartender. If you happen to stumble upon a great daiquiri at the first bar you visit, you should trust the bartender and cherish the establishment. The standards performed by Jos van Beest are like a daiquiri with a perfect balance of sour and sweet flavors, with a crisp taste and a hint of lime that sweetly and refreshingly moistens the throat, or rather the heart. Simple yet profound. The Beast's piano touch is so elegant and beautiful that it is as if he has found a golden recipe, and we are thrilled by the daiquiri's shimmering melody as it flows from the shaker into the glass.This is the first trio work in three years, since 2008's "Exclusively for You," and the singing of standards such as "Fly me to the moon" is really pleasant (perhaps even the piano thinks so). This time, three of AC Jobim's works are featured, and it seems that Jobim's melodies, which are like a gentle breeze with some sweet fragrance, and Beast's piano, which is like a refreshing lime, slowly unwind the tired and complicated folds of the heart one by one at the window overlooking a tropical beach. There is an air of contentment in the air that makes you smile when you look at them. The last song "Ben" is the only solo on the album. I wonder what the last cocktail of the night will taste like.
