Lamb Of God

Description:

Lamb of God—the iconic band of the U.S. metal scene Tour Edition of their latest album, *Into Oblivion* (Neon Orange and Black Splatter Vinyl) Lamb of God, the iconic band of the U.S. metal scene, consists of Randy Blythe (vocals), John Campbell (bass), Mark Morton (guitar), Willie Adler (guitar), and Art Cruz (drums). Formed in 1994, the band began its career based in Richmond, Virginia. To date, they have released a total of nine albums, earned five Grammy Award nominations, sold over 3 million albums, sold out arenas around the world, and surpassed 1 billion cumulative streaming plays, amassing an impressive track record. Their latest album, *Into Oblivion*—their first since 2022’s *Omens*—was produced and mixed by longtime studio collaborator Josh Wilber. It was recorded at several locations closely tied to the band’s identity: the drums were recorded in Richmond, Virginia, while the guitars and bass were recorded at Morton’s home studio. Bry recorded vocals at the legendary Total Access Studios in Redondo Beach, California—the very place where albums by punk pioneers such as Black Flag, Husker Du, and The Descendents were born. Guitarist Mark Morton said, “For me, this album means having a space to breathe creatively and being free from the feeling that I have to keep up with trends or expectations. “It feels great not to be bound by any schedule other than coming together around the very idea that started it all: ‘Let’s make the music we think is cool,’” he said. Vocalist Randy Blythe spoke candidly about why the band chose the album title *Into Oblivion*. “Well, that’s where we’re headed. As a whole, this album depicts the current state of affairs, where the social contract continues to rapidly unravel—especially in the United States. Things that would have terrified people 20 years ago are now accepted.” This tour edition includes a live recording from July 5, 2025, in Birmingham, UK, featuring Black Sabbath’s classic “Children of the Grave”—which was also performed during Ozzy Osbourne’s final live show “Back To The Beginning,” as well as a live recording of “Sepsis.” The vinyl features a special neon orange and black splatter design.
