Evanescence, the rock band led by Amy Lee Their long-awaited new album, *Sanctuary* (clear smoke vinyl), featuring an all-star lineup of producers Evanescence is a rock band led by Amy Lee, originally from Little Rock, Arkansas. In February 2003, their single “Bring Me to Life” was featured in the movie “Daredevil” and reached No. 1 on the charts. Their debut album, “Fallen,” went platinum just six weeks after its release. In 2003, they received a record five Grammy nominations for a rock artist and won two awards. Since then, they have continued to release studio albums consistently and remain active on the global stage. This album, *Sanctuary*, features tracks produced by Zack Servini (Bad Omens, YUNGBLD, BringMeTheHorizon, Spiritbox) and Jordan Fish (BringMeTheHorizon, Poppy, HouseofProtection, Architects), as well as tracks produced by Nick Raskulinecz (Korn, Foo Fighters, Rush). Amy Lee had this to say about the new album: “It took over three years to make this album, but now that I’ve finally listened to all the songs together and am about to release it to the world, I feel truly proud of every single moment. It’s overwhelming. This creative process served as an outlet for my emotions when I felt something was wrong or when I felt out of control, and it was also a place where I could find hope through the power of music and connection. I’m so glad all the tour dates are set. Otherwise, I wouldn’t have known what to do with myself right now! I was completely absorbed in it. I can’t wait for my fans to hear this.” In March 2025, the band provided the song “Afterlife” for the Netflix original anime *Devil May Cry*, based on Capcom’s popular action game. The song became a massive hit across the U.S., reaching No. 1 on the Billboard “Mainstream Rock Airplay” chart dated July 5, 2025. It also reached No. 1 on the Billboard “Rock & Alternative Airplay” chart dated July 19. This marked the band’s first No. 1 on both charts. They performed the song at The Game Awards 2025 on December 1, 2025. Evanescence will kick off their world tour on June 11, 2026, in West Palm Beach, Florida. There is no doubt that this new album will spark a new wave of success around the world.
