The deluxe edition of the debut album by the Nordic gothic rock supergroup CemeterySkyline, *NordicGothic (Deluxe Edition)*. Formed in 2020 with the idea of creating timeless dark music as a tribute to the artists who most influenced their generation. The members are Markus Van Halla (g/Insomnium, Omnium Gatheram), Santeri Kallio (key/Amorphis), Vesa Ranta (ds/Sentence), Victor Brandt (b/Dim Bogger, Witchery), and Mikael Stanne (vo/Dark Tranquility). They openly profess their love for The Sisters of Mercy and Type O Negative, and describe themselves as “pioneers of melodic, melancholic, and dark rock.” This album—the first in Mikael Stanne’s career to feature clean vocals throughout—plunges listeners into the world of the “Scandinavian gothic lifestyle,” rooted in “northern solitude,” antisocial tendencies, and black humor. The deluxe edition is a 2-CD set featuring the original album on CD 1 and rare/unreleased tracks on CD 2.
