It features 12 newly recorded songs by Jeremy Allen White and the film's cast. What was he facing on the eve of "Born in the U.S.A."? The film and soundtrack depict the period when Bruce Springsteen was making "Nebraska" in 1982, when the young Springsteen was beginning his ascent to international stardom and was caught between the pressures of success and the shadow of his past. The film follows a young Springsteen as he struggles between the pressures of success and the shadows of his past. Nebraska" was a turning point in his career and is still considered one of the most deeply moving albums of all time. The desolate acoustic sound of this record is like a "prayer" for souls wandering in search of salvation. The soundtrack for the film was produced by Dave Cobb (noted producer of Chris Stapleton, Brandi Carlisle, and Sturgill Simpson), and also features brothers Jake and Sam Kiska of Greta Van Fleet.
