Featuring 14 tracks, this album serves as a modern homage to Afro-Caribbean rhythms and Puerto Rican bomba. The album features the neo-bomba smash hit “Carita Linda,” which topped the Latin radio charts; “Guaban Sexxx,” a track inspired by the Taino goddess of storms and chaos that fuses house, bomba, and plena (a traditional music genre originating in Puerto Rico); the tension-filled, Afro-Caribbean-influenced “Buenos Terminos”; “Santa,” featuring Rvssian and Ayra Starr, which was released in 2024 to great fan acclaim; Lau’s first original salsa tracks, “CallejondelosSecretos” and “MirandoAlCielo”; and “SILENCIO,” also his first bachata track. The album was produced and written by Romeo Santos. This album, *Cosa Nuestra: Capítulo 0*, was nominated for Best Latin Album at the 2025 Billboard Latin Music Awards, reached No. 1 on the Billboard Latin Albums chart, No. 6 on the Billboard 200, and debuted at No. 1 on the global charts of Apple Music and Spotify. It serves as the origin story—the official prequel—to his fifth album, *Cosa Nuestra*, released in 2024, which features collaborations with Bad Bunny, Pharrell Williams, and others. At the 26th Latin Grammy Awards, Lau was nominated in two categories: Best Reggaeton Performance for “Baja Pa’ Aca” with Alexis y Fido, and Best Album for *Cosa Nuestra*. He was also nominated for a total of 14 categories at the Billboard Latin Music Awards, including Best Artist, Best Tour, and Best Latin Album. The "Cosa Nuestra World Tour" sold out every show in the United States, Puerto Rico, and Europe. With Lau embodying the next evolution of Latin music, we can’t take our eyes off him this year either.
