Long-awaited new album "Corporation Pop" (neon orange vinyl) Hot Milk is a four-piece band fronted by Han Me and Jim Shaw on twin vocals, and hails from Manchester, the hottest spot on the rock scene in 2025. On their highly anticipated sophomore album, "Corporation P.O.P.," produced by Jim Shaw, Zach Jones, and KJ Strock, the band showcases their heaviest sound and rawest, most honest lyrics. The album also serves as a social commentary, showing the darker side of the world that surrounded them as they wrote the record. At the same time, their wry, derisive humor is sprinkled throughout. The music video for the new song "90 Seconds To Midnight," which also features British comedian Frank Skinner, was shot and produced in their hometown of Salford with their longtime friend Kennedy. Han Mee said of the new song, "The doomsday clock is approaching midnight and this frantic song sets the mood for the looming nuclear winter. We wanted to shock our listeners with this song. The lyrics were inspired by the poem "Slough" by 17th century philosopher Rousseau and poet John Betjeman. Rousseau taught that man makes his own shackles and can never be free. In this case, we have created our own ruin.Betjeman's poem, on the other hand, takes this notion of demise, laughs at it, and invites nuclear weapons in with "friendly bombs. Let's start from scratch again," he says. Following the release of their UK Top 40 debut album, Hot Milk has reached new heights domestically and internationally, with three UK tours, festival headlining dates, a world tour, and over 100 million streaming views.
