Imperial Triumphant is an avant-garde black metal masked trio from New York City that has been consistently releasing albums since their first album "Abominamentvm" (2012), while exploring an experimental and free style of music. In 2023, they will suddenly release a lot of cover songs, In 2023, the band suddenly started to produce a lot of cover songs, such as Radiohead's "Paranoid Android," trumpeter Dizzy Gillespie's jazz standard "A Night In Tunisia," RUSH's "Jacob's Ladder," and METALLICA's "Motorbreath," as well as many other songs, which have been released by fans. He has astonished his fans by releasing a variety of covers. The sixth album, "Goldstar," to be released in March 2025, will also be a definitive work for the immensely talented masked trio Imperial Triumphant. From the album's opener (1) "Eye of Mars" to (4) "Hotel Sphinx" and the death metal rumbling of (7) "Rot Moderne," Imperial Triumphant's strong and unwavering sound is akin to that of bands like BEHEMOTH, CARCASS, The sound of Imperial Triumphant was forged through months of touring with such powerhouses as BEHEMOTH, CARCASS, ZEAL & ARDOR, and many more. (3) "Lexington Delirium" is a spectacular music video shot on the top floor of the Chrysler Building, a majestic skyscraper in Manhattan, New York City, where the band is based. The other song "NEWYORKCITY" (5), which explodes for 47 seconds with a tremendous, intense sound, features Yoshiko O'Hara, the Japanese singer of the New York-based band BLOODY PANDA.Also noteworthy on this album are the guest appearances of Tomas Haake, drummer for MESHUGGAH, who has also participated in previous albums, and Dave Lombardo, legendary drummer formerly of SLAYER. The explosive energy that erupts in the second half of (8) "Pleasuredome" is the highlight of the album and a must-listen. Says band founder Zachary Ezrin: "Desire is good.
