It is said that while recording the solo part of the title track, Angus' amplifier overheated and ignited. At the time, AC/DC had established a unique position in the U.K. at the height of the punk movement through their energetic activities, including a tour of the U.K. The band's first album, "The Soul of Rock," was released in 1966. The album is packed with classic AC/DC songs and riffs from the early days, such as "Rock Soul," "Bad Boy Boogie," and "Whole Lottaology," which are indispensable for their live shows. Hall Lottaology" was covered by Guns N' Roses. Released on analog vinyl (gold vinyl) to commemorate the band's 50th anniversary.
