While making her debut in 2014 with the EP Nightmares & Lullabies: Act 1, she has also demonstrated her talent as a songwriter and has written songs for many artists, including Chris Brown, Nas, Blackpink, Fifth Harmony, and T.I. She has collaborated with Ariana Grande, among others. He is especially known for his collaborations with Ariana Grande, and has contributed a song to Ariana Grande's 2019 album, Thank U, Next. He was nominated for two Grammy Awards for Best Album and Best Record for his single "7 Rings," which catapulted him into the limelight.
