Sade's debut album "Diamond Life" made a cool impact on the world music scene. Born in Nigeria and raised in England, the group consists of lead singer Sherday Adu, who loves jazz and R&B, Stewart Matthewman (sax,g), Andrew Hale (key), and Paul Spencer Denman (b). Adeu's receptive vocals create a one-and-only worldview on sophisticated songs that blend the essence of black music. (1) "Smooth Operator" was a huge hit and won a Grammy Award for Best New Artist. The album reached No. 2 in the U.K. and No. 5 in the U.S. The analog version to be released this time is 180g weight vinyl.A high-resolution digital transfer from the original analog studio tapes to a stereo master mix was performed at Abbey Road Studios, followed by cutting to lacquer at half speed. The meticulous half-speed mastering process produced an extremely clean and detailed soundstage, while remaining true to the sound that Schade intended. By eliminating any extra digital limiting in the mastering process, the album has achieved a clearer, purer reproduction, preserving the dynamic range of the original mixes. The album covers are also accurately reproduced in fine detail using paper and printing techniques that are faithful to the originals.
