Description:
Dvorak's secret music. Nostalgic music engraved in your heart. The ultimate healing. The long-awaited solo album by Leif Ove Ansnes is Dvořák's "Poetic Soundscapes," a piano piece written in 1889, when the composer was 48 years old, and, like his Symphony No. 8 and the opera "The Jacobin Party," a mature work created before his departure for the U.S. In April 1889, after a long absence from the fabric Nera Hozévez It is composed of thirteen jewel-like pieces, each with a title, and is an intimate piece of music reflecting those fond memories. As Ansnes himself has declared "a forgotten masterpiece of 19th century piano music," he was fascinated by the work from an early age and played it in a piano competition in which he participated at the age of 12. The Corona disaster restricted his performance activities, and Ansnes returned to the work. The world of Dvořák is like a kaleidoscope, as he captures the various nuances in the music and depicts them with his polished pianism. The nostalgic sound of the music will be etched in your heart. This is a forgotten masterpiece of 19th century piano music---I would like to say this about Dvořák's "Poetic Soundscapes. This piece has a different appeal than the image of Dvorak known for his symphonies and string quartets. Anyway, I love this piece. But nobody plays it! It is a collection of songs containing several stories, but it is also like one big story. It is as if a storyteller opens a thick book and begins to tell, 'Now, everyone, listen to my story. ' Here Dvořák creates a unique timbre from the piano, confidently exhausting its wide range of sounds." (Leif Ove Ansnes) was born in Karmøy, Norway, in 1970. He studied at the Bergen Conservatory and made his debut in Oslo in 1987. He currently lives in Copenhagen and Bergen. He is a recipient of the "Royal Norwegian Order of St. Olav" and the "Per Gynt Prize. Gynt Prize. With a repertoire ranging from Bach to contemporary music, he has recorded for Virgin Classics and EMI, and since 2012 he has been under an exclusive recording contract with Sony Classical.
