Slaegt

Description:

Danish black heavy metal band Slaegt has pushed itself to the limit with its latest album "Goddess". Slaegt (Danish for "bloodline" or "heritage") is a Danish black heavy metal band that has released over 150 live albums to date. The band has played more than 150 shows, toured Europe three times, and appeared at festivals, winning strong support and critical acclaim both at home and abroad. The band proves that they have evolved and matured in every aspect with "Goddess," their fourth album in five years and their debut for Century Media Records and their fourth album in total. At six songs and 40 minutes long, Goddess is the band's most elaborate and accomplished work to date, a high-energy expression of a dark abyss of sound with a unique atmosphere. The band admits that they have been thoroughly meticulous in their songwriting, lyrics, and production. We tried to be as experimental as ever and pushed ourselves to the limit in every way," says the band, making "Goddess" their most ambitious work to date. To record the new album, the band hired veteran producer Martin 'Konie' Ehrencrona (Refused, In Solitude, Viagra Boys, Tribulation) to record and mix at Studio Cobra in Stockholm, Sweden. The recording and mixing was done by veteran producer Martin 'Konie' Ehrencrona (Refused, In Solitude, Viagra Boys, Tribulation), who worked on it for 10 days without a break, far from home. The final touches were done by Magnus Lindberg (The Hellacopters, Cult of Luna, Dool), who mastered the album at Redmount Studios, also in Stockholm. Also responsible for the stunning artwork on this album is David Glomba (Svartidaudi, Cult Of Fire, Malokarpatan). David Glomba (Svartidaudi, Cult Of Fire, Malokarpatan) is responsible for the stunning artwork on the new album, and we were very excited when he accepted our offer. And he did a great job in bringing the visual ideas and concepts of this work to life. We have admired his work for a long time and are very happy to have worked with him," says the band. One of the most important bands to come out of the Danish and Scandinavian metal scene, Slaegt is forging its own path with its new weapon, Goddess.
