Dream Theater "Lost Not Forgotten Archives: The Majesty Demos (1985-1986)" is the sixth official bootleg from Dream Theater, the kings of progressive metal, Dream Theater, the kings of progressive metal, began releasing the "Lost Not Forgotten Archives" series of official bootlegs of live performances, demos, studio outtakes, and other treasured recordings in June 2021. The sixth in the series is "The Majesty Demos (1985-1986)," a set of demo recordings made before the band's debut. The Majesty Demos (1985-1986)" is the sixth in the series, and is a collection of pre-debut demos recorded before the band's debut. This is a demo tape recorded around the time when the band started to play live mainly in the East Coast.The Majesty Demos 1986", which contains six songs from the Majesty era, is a memorable collection of demos that paved the way for the band's debut, as the 1,000 cassettes produced at the time were sold out and circulated in the progressive metal scene. It can be said to be the starting point of their career. The Berklee Demos 1985-1986" contains 17 songs that were produced before the demos, including tracks that were not completed with vocals or guitar, a cover of the beloved Rush, "John's idea of his Randy (Rose) song," "Mike's idea of his Dee Dee Ramone song," and "Randy's idea of his Dee Dee Ramone song. Mike's idea of his Randy (Rose) song" and "Dee Dee Ramone's introduction to the song" are also included. The album was previously released in limited production on their own Ytsejam Records label (Ytsejam = Majesty spelled backwards), and is now being reissued in a long-awaited reissue with new artwork and a newly edited and mastered version.
