The Neal Morse Band, led by one of the most versatile musicians in prog rock, Neal Morse, released their fourth album "Innocence & Danger". Neal Morse began his musical career in earnest with SPOCK'S BEARD, which he formed with his brother Alan Morse in the 1990s, and his Born Again Christianity in 2002 led to the creation of solo works with religious themes, as well as SPOCK'S BEARD, TRANSATLANTIC, and FLYING COLORS, NEAL MORSE is also known as a prolific artist, releasing multiple works a year as a member of FLYING COLORS. Last year, he released "Sola Gratia" as a solo artist, a concept album following the record of Paul, an apostle of Christianity, made remotely during the lockdown, and also released the third in a series of cover songs under the name MORSE/PORTNOY/GEORGE, a project to play cover songs. In addition, under the name of his project MORSE/PORTNOY/GEORGE, in which he plays cover songs, he released the third in a series of cover albums, "Cov3r To Cov3r," surprising fans with his never-ending creativity in the Corona disaster. The new album by THE NEAL MORSE BAND, helmed by Neal, one of the best songwriters and multi-instrumentalists in the prog rock world, will be released in the summer of 2021. The band consists of Mike Portnoy, formerly of DREAM THEATER and now of TRANSATLANTIC, SONS OF APOLLO, and FLYING COLORS, Randy Geroge of AJALON, Eric Gillette, and Bill Hubauer. As Mike Portnoy says, "After two epic concept albums, it was refreshing to make a collection of individual songs like our first album 'The Grand Experiment'. As he says, "Innocence & Danger" is an album in which each song has its own story. Neal, who is very pleased with the results of this album, also praises it unreservedly.The band is truly exceptional and a great team, with Mike Portnoy's huge drums, the always steady Randy George on bass, Eric Gillette's vocals have improved tremendously, and Eric and Bill Hubauer's solos are truly amazing! Eric and Bill Hubauer's solos are truly amazing. Each has contributed greatly to the success of the album. At first, we thought this would be a single album, since the band has done two albums in a row, but there are so many songs on it that it just became too much. But we ended up with so many songs that we ended up with three consecutive two-disc albums. This is progressive rock! (The band's name is also used in the title of the album. CD1 contains songs ranging from about 3 to 8 minutes in length, while CD2 contains two epics of about 19 and 31 minutes, which Neal says, "I didn't realize how long they were when we were recording them. With songs carefully crafted by masters of proven technique, "Innocence & Danger" is a work of precision and perfect balance, a work of both maturity and freshness. The album will be released in three formats: a box set containing three LPs and two CDs, a digipak containing two CDs and a DVD of the making of the album, and a two CD set.
