Description:

The 21st edition of SONY CLASSICAL MASTERS BOX The popular budget box "MASTERS BOX" by Sony Classical is now on sale. The extensive catalogs of SONY CLASSICAL and RCA RED SEAL, two long-established American classical labels with over 100 years of history, offer a wide selection of classic masterpieces that every music fan should have heard at least once, performed by established artists. This popular series is now being released one after another at budget prices. This year, 10 titles with a strong lineup will be released again. The artwork design is based on a white color scheme, making it easy to spot. The latest remastering at the time of production is used. *This set does not include a booklet. Track listings can be found on the paper jacket of each disc." Buchbinder, a pianist at the pinnacle of the heirs to the "Viennese piano school," recorded the complete sonatas for Teldec in the 1980s, and has now re-recorded them live for the first time in almost 30 years. From interpretation to fingering, Buchbinder has deciphered these "new translations of the piano Bible" with a unique perspective and a solitary approach, and performs them with exceptional feeling.I have played the complete Beethoven sonatas over 40 times. My playing has evolved with my research each time. The ideas are so engraved in the score that I end up playing them differently each time. More than 18 printed scores exist for the sonatas, but surprisingly few autographs have survived. Liszt, the greatest pianist and composer of all time, was an admirer of Beethoven and revised Beethoven's scores, but his own extensive writing on the scores resulted in the loss of all Beethoven's fingerings and other elements. This is the basis of the score as it is usually played today. I have rolled back as far as possible to earlier times, explored the mechanics of historical instruments (I actually own a Stein and others), and incorporated them into modern piano performance interpretations. Beethoven's entire life is encapsulated in his 32 pieces. In them, you can see both his unrequited love for women and his gratitude to his patrons. Buchbinder said. The recording producer is Philippe Nadel, who was also involved in the production of the Living Stereo SACD series, and the engineer is Arnoncourt's trusted Michael Bramann, a member of the b-Sharp studio team that was nominated for a Grammy Award in 2009.
