His new album, *OneWorld*—his first in 10 years—was recorded in Manchester and New York, where he reunited with Barry Eastmond, the acclaimed R&B producer who produced Billy Ocean’s smash-hit album *LoveZone* in the 1980s. Billy Ocean said of the album, “‘OneWorld’ is my first original studio album in over 10 years, and it serves as a monument to my 70th birthday! I think this album reflects the many genres of music that have influenced me over the years, from the calypso music that shaped my childhood to the diverse sounds of London’s East End.
