Griff Rhys, the frontman of Super Furry Animals, the national band of Wales, and also a solo artist, has released the soundtrack of the movie "The Almond & the Seahorse" on a limited vinyl edition! Following the UK Top 10 album "Seeking New Gods," the album features 22 vocal and instrumental tracks written by Griff Rhys for the film starring Rebel Wilson and Charlotte Gainsbourg. The film was produced with a number of musicians, including members of the National Orchestra of Wales, from 2021 to 2022, including the dramatic piano ballad "Amen," which is also the theme of the film.From solid pop songs to instrumental numbers that accompany the characters and landscapes of the film, the soundtrack is a gem that offers a glimpse into the various color palettes of the Griff Reese's. The album is limited to 3000 numbered, foil-stamped copies worldwide and will be released in a 2-disc set on clear yellow vinyl (poster enclosed).
