Amil and the Sniffers, the Aussie punks stars who inherited the straight and pure punk sound and have made Foo Fighters, Weezer, King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard and Sleaford Mods fall in love with their music, have released their long-awaited second album "Comfort to Me"! Produced by Dan Luscombe, Courtney Barnett's right-hand man as well as a member of the Drones, the album features the ground-breaking single "Guided By Angles," with its earth-shattering 8-bit beat and driving guitar riff, as well as tracks from AC/DC, Rose Tattoo, Motorhead, and the Drones. The band's sound is influenced by old-school rock 'n' roll from AC/DC, Rose Tattoo, Motorhead, and Wendy O. Williams, modern hardcore from Warthog and Power Trip, and classic local Australian acts like Colored Balls and Cosmic Psychos, and they have further developed their own unique sound with "Guided By Angles" as the first single. The 13 tracks on this album are a further development of their unique sound into something heavier and more aggressive.The album was mixed by Nick Roney (Nick Cave, Idols, Ya Ya Ya's) and mastered by Bernie Grundman (Michael Jackson, Prince, Dr. Dre).
