Filled with a bright and cheerful mood, the album fits naturally alongside contemporary indie rock acts like The Sins and Band of Horses, yet the band had undergone such a transformation that they were almost unrecognizable from the group of the *Ask Me Tomorrow* era. By the time their final album was released, the Mohave Three had come a long way from their early sound. At the same time, Neil and Rachel were each releasing solo work, and Ian was playing with another band. The Mohave Three were approaching a natural end.
