The album, which began production upon the pregnancy and birth of her twin boys, features Beck, Roger Manning Jr. The first single, "So Typically Now," was released and played on radio stations around the world as one of the killer tunes of the summer of 2022. The album features 10 tracks that are rich in variety and further showcase the essence of pop music and her true talent, including "So Typically Now," a minimal funk song "Futures Bet," whose suggestive intro reminds one of Prince, and "Bless This Mess," a ballad that is the title track that eats at the core of the album.
