Three albums by the British band Lush, whose shoegaze and dream pop approach colored the 90's, "Spooky", "Split", and "Lovelife" will be reissued simultaneously! Lush's three studio albums "Spooky", "Split" and "Lovelife" are finally being reissued! Lush, built around Emma Anderson and Miki Berenyi, was a band that garnered a devoted following among music fans with a sound that embraced every genre that colored the 90s, including shoegaze, dream pop, and Brit-pop, until they disbanded in 1998. The band's temporary reunion in 2016 was a big hit, and in recent years they have gained support from a new generation who discovered their music through TikTok and Spotify. This time, the band worked with engineer/producer Kevin VanBergen to remaster the studio album. Using the original 1/2" production tapes as the source material, Kevin worked painstakingly to perfectly capture the realism of the originals and achieve a brand new, stunning, high quality sound.The album art created by 4AD's in-house designer V23 for each release has always been central to Rush's appeal. For this reissue, "Spooky" and "Split" feature the original designs, while "Lovelife" features artwork from the 2016 box set. All three titles are also being released on classic black vinyl and limited-quantity clear vinyl.
