Baest "Venenum", the second album from the unprecedented whirlwind Danish death metal band Baest, a five-piece band from Aarhus. The band is a remarkable blend of Swedish death metal guitar tones, intense grooves, and a wealth of musical influences.Their first album, "Danse Macabre," was released in August 2018 and won the Danish music award, the Gaffa Awards, for Best Newcomer and Best Metal Album Award at the Gaffa Awards, the Danish music awards. In addition, the band has performed at Roskilde Festival, Summer Breeze, and many other leading European festivals. The band has been a supporting act for ABBATH, DECAPITATED, HATEBREED, DYING FETUS, ENTOMBED A.D., and many more. BAEST is also stepping into new territory that no Danish death metal band has ever done before. The national broadcast television station has reported on the band's tours, and the band has been actively appearing on radio stations, gaining new fans as well as traditional metal fans. The current album, Venenum, was recorded at Finland Studio and mixed and mastered at Hop House Studio by Andreas Linnemann, who also worked on 2016's Marie Magdalene (EP).The band's first album, "No Guts, No Glory," was recorded in 2017, and since then, fans have been asking for the release of a cover of BOLT THROWER's "No Guts, No Glory. A cover of BOLT THROWER's "No Guts, No Glory", which had been requested for release, is included.
