Billy Joel's first live album "Songs In the Attic" is now available in analog format with the latest remastered soundtrack. Billy's first live album, entitled "Songs in the Attic," is a selection of songs from his first four albums released prior to his 1977 smash "Stranger. Billy's most beloved and treasured songs are given a new lease of life on stage and brought back to life. The songs on this disc were recorded live during a U.S. tour in June and July of 1980. The live version of "Goodbye Hollywood" from "New York Stories" was cut as a single and reached No. 17 in the U.S., while "She's Gotta Way" from "Cold Spring Harbor" reached No. 23 in the U.S., highlighting a number of classic songs. This album, which marks the 10th anniversary of his solo debut, reached #8 on the U.S. album chart, despite being a live album that did not contain any of his biggest hits. The album reaffirmed Billy Joel's outstanding talent as a songwriter.Analog release in 2021 with the latest remastered sound.
