Morricone's music can be described as music of intimate superlative beauty, essential for perfect, chilled-out relaxation. It is produced by various award-winning film music producer Robert Townson. Simone Pedroni, who plays piano, is the winner of the 1993 Van Cliburn International Piano Competition. Although she is also an expert in superlatives such as Liszt, her recent performances of film music arrangements have been much talked about, and her 2017 album, "Themes and Transcriptions of John Williams," has been praised as "a superb listening experience that impresses with its beauty. The beautifully arranged, beauty-based music by these two artists makes this album a deeply moving experience that captures the wonderful essence of the film.
