The band's fourth album, "Tell Me I'm Pretty," won "Best Rock Album" at the 59th Grammy Awards, beating out such powerhouses as Weezer and Blink-182. In addition, Cage the Elephant from Kentucky, U.S.A., which has grown into one of the world's leading rock and roll bands in both name and reality, holding the record for "the band with the most #1 hits on alternative radio charts" in the last 10 years, has finally completed their fifth full-length album "Social Cues," their first in four years and their first since winning the Grammy. Social Cues", their fifth full-length album and first in four years since winning a Grammy.The album, produced by John Hill (Santigold, Florence + The Machine, Portugal. The Man), retains the vintage 60s and 70s rock sound of the previous album, while also exploding with a catchy and eccentric garage rock sound that can be considered their starting point. The album is a masterpiece that is truly the culmination of the band's career to date. The album was also produced during a very difficult time in the life of vocalist Matt Schultz, who ended his seven-year marriage.
