A Scandinavian musical gem of an up-and-coming string orchestra, LGY Young Soloists was formed in 2013 at the urging of Alexander Gilman by a group of talented young string artists between the ages of 13-23. Each member is a winner of international competitions and has received a total of more than 70 awards. Since its debut, the group has toured extensively and received high acclaim for its performances in many countries around the world. The spontaneity of each member is emphasized, and the members play with a passion for music, influencing each other through mutual inspiration. So far, they have released string ensemble works from Italy and Russia, and this time they are releasing a collection of works by Scandinavian composers that highlight the beauty of string music. The concert will include "Suite No. 3" by Sweden's Atterberg, one of his best-known works, Sinding's graceful "Serenade," Svendsen's "Romance," and the melodic and melancholic mood of "Serenade" written by Edvard Brain, which will be performed together, and finally Sibelius's "Sad The program concludes with Sibelius' "Sad Waltz".The solos are performed by these members in turn, using Stradivari, Guarneri, and other famous instruments contributed by many sponsors.
