This is the second album "Pretenders II", which was released in August 1981 and established the band as one of the most exciting bands of all time! Chrissie Hynde. At 68 years old, the rocker has recorded numerous international hits as a member of The Pretenders, and as a solo artist, her charismatic sound and performances have earned her the respect of rock fans, the media, and artists all over the world. He is an important artist who cannot be overlooked in the history of rock music.In 1981, the band released its second album, "Pretenders II," which followed the acclaimed debut album that bears the band's name. This album was the last with the original lineup of the Pretenders, and it successfully continued the strong impression of the debut album. Now available as a 180-gram weight analog, PRETENDERS II features a remastered soundtrack from 2018, created by the album's original producer, Chris Thomas. This will be the first time that this remastered soundtrack will be released on analog vinyl.Before the release of their second album, the Pretenders released two singles in the U.K., "Talk Of The Town," which reached #8 in the U.K. charts, and "Message Of Love," which reached #11. In March 1981, the band released a five-song EP, "Expanded Play," which included these two singles, and in August 1981, amidst the growing demand for a new Pretenders album, "Pretenders II" was finally released, reaching #7 in the U.K. and #10 in the U.S., and was awarded a silver and gold disc respectively. The album was a huge success, reaching #7 in the U.K. and #10 in the U.S., and was certified as a Silver Disc and Gold Disc, respectively. One of the highlights of the album is the Kinks' cover of "I Go To Sleep.
