The music here is very intense, Polish, and full of romance. It is a heartwarming collection of songs by some of Poland's finest composers, full of poetry, heart, and song, and contains many beautiful compositions.The former heavenly illusions and massive splendor of the former compositions have disappeared in Szymanowski's "Songs of the Krpje Region," which is a very concise work in the form of the original folk songs. The melody maker Karłowicz died tragically in an avalanche during a skiing expedition in the Tatra Mountains. He was seen as a star of hope for the rebirth of Polish music, and his future was even more promising than that of Szymanowski. It is the centerpiece of this album, full of striking beauty and passion. Not many recordings of these songs have been made, but some of them were sung operatically by Polish singers. Orlinski's exquisite command of the vibrato, not only as a countertenor but also in a wide range of repertoire from baroque to contemporary songs, gives a new light and interpretation to these songs.
