Description:

Around the world, pianists give concerts and recordings every day. But how many pianists today are praised for releasing albums that "never fail! But how many pianists are there today whose every album they release is praised as "never a miss! One of those rare individuals is Alexandre Tharaud, born in 1968. He was born in France, and at first he was a great pianist of his country's music such as Poulenc and Ravel, but as you know, he started to play his own unique music. He has been playing Chopin's preludes with "Montpauw" quietly slipped in, or playing Rameau or Coupland without hesitation. Recently, he has been focusing on Bach, and Haydn and Mozart were wonderful two years ago...and so on...Taro. Finally, he worked on "Rachmaninoff: Piano Concerto No. 2," a masterpiece among masterpieces. It is dense and poetic. It is the ideal "No. 2. The opening chord sequence reminds one of the sound of bells, the second movement is too beautiful, and the final movement shows off a great deal of skill by many. He easily goes through all of them with expressions that are "beyond the imagination.Of course, it is not odd, but rather elegant, and does not alter the score in any way. Let us add that the rich sound of the orchestra (Royal Liverpool Philharmonic), driven by Vedernikov, perfectly accompanies Tharaud's transformative playing and enhances the beautiful sound of the piano. The "Fantastic Pieces" are also superb, with each piece overflowing with fantasy. Sabine Devielle's lovely singing in Vocalise is also superb. The six-hand sonata at the end is extraordinarily sumptuous. The ensemble with Mazar and Melnikov was breathtaking. Even those who say, "I'm tired of hearing Rachmaninoff's 2nd sonata," will be satisfied with this Taro disc. Warner Music Japan
