This recording was like a dream come true," says Camille, whose first album, "Prodiges," was a huge hit, selling over 80,000 copies in France alone. Camille, now 17 years old, chose her older sister Julie as her duo partner. Julie plays violin and viola. Although she plays only the violin on this album, we can expect to hear the enchanting sound of her viola in time to come. This album by the sisters, backed by the Orchestre Philharmonique de Monte Carlo, offers a taste of even more mature talent and an incredible variety of music.The album begins with "Hungarian Dances" and "Sword Dances," and at first it is dominated by a lighthearted groove and a wonderful drive, as if it were a crossover album. The two sisters sing a variety of music with abandon and captivate the audience to no end. Of course, the older sister Julie also has her solo moments, and her two pieces, "Zigoinelweisen" with orchestra and "Schubert's Serenade" with piano, reveal a different world from that of her younger sister Camille.
