The group quickly made a name for itself in the British music world and at the same time captured the attention of the world, and as it celebrates its 50th anniversary in 2018, its unparalleled musicianship and witty stage performances continue to captivate audiences around the world. The repertoire of The King's Singers covers a wide range of genres, from medieval to Renaissance, Romantic to contemporary, as well as folk and pop music from around the world. They have shared their own musicality and performances with a wide audience. This 3-CD set includes three masterpieces recorded in the 1980s. [CD1] is a masterpiece of the charm of madrigale from five countries (Italy, France, West, England, and Germany), backed by Antony Lurie & the Consort of Music, which makes this album complete. [CD2] is an album of hit songs from the 1930s.This album is full of wonderful vocals and powerful charm, singing a wide range of repertoire with versatile expression and exceptional technique.
