Paganini (1782-1840)

Description:

The "24 Caprices" from Augustin Harderich's "Paganini for the Soul" is one of the most difficult pieces for violinists, as it is full of intense techniques that had not been used before, such as the use of the violin's overtone technique and the left-hand pizzicato, which is visually pleasing to play. The final piece, "No. 24" is one of the most difficult pieces for violin players. Brahms, Rachmaninoff, and others also wrote works using the theme of the final piece, "No. 24," and Liszt's "La Campanella" is particularly famous. Augustin Harderich was born in Italy in 1984, began playing the violin at the age of 5, and was a child prodigy on stage from the age of 7. At the age of 15, he was burned so badly in a fire that even doctors gave up on him, and although he suffered severe burns all over his body, and at one point his life was in danger, not only as a performer but even as a life. In 2006, he won the first prize at the Indianapolis International Competition, demonstrating his overwhelming ability. In January 2008, she made her Carnegie Hall debut to rave reviews in the New York Times, and in 2016 she won a Grammy Award for her Dutilleux cycle.Harderich's fully realized recording of the "24 Caprices" examines this artistic work from every aspect of his skill as a violinist, creating extremes of technique and musicality, as well as a new and deeper musicality. This is an album in which you can hear the essence of Harderich's true virtuosity on display. Warner Music Japan
