Born in 1934 to a wealthy family, conductor Rosecrans, who passed away in 2009 at the age of 75, was based in Houston since 1956 and served as music director of the Houston Grand Opera until 1975, as well as conducting in England, Hungary, and Russia. He conducted in Hungary and Russia. He has not only performed with Renata Scott and many other singers, but was also very active in the field of musicals. He is also known for his active performance of rare works such as the premiere version of Madama Butterfly, Mascagni's Rodoletta, and Cilea's The Lady of Arles, and his performance with the Hungarian National Orchestra has long been one of the most valuable recordings of his work. This performance with the Hungarian National Orchestra has long been a favorite as one of the most valuable recordings. The well-balanced singing and the beautiful melody are a pleasure to listen to.
