Description:
Irish hard-hitting post-punk band Girl Band will release a live disc featuring a sold-out show at the iconic Vicar Street live music venue in their hometown of Dublin in November 2019. The show follows the release of their second album "The Talkies", which was praised by numerous media outlets, including the renowned music magazine Mojo, who called it "a more abstract and more focused album compared to their debut album", and sold out numerous shows in the UK and US as well as Europe! The Girl Band's live show was called "chaotic" and "electrifying" by numerous media outlets, and was also described as "truly dangerous. It was like the last rave before the world's destruction. This is the first live LP to capture the atmosphere and intense sound created by the band, which can only be felt by being there, and includes rare soundtracks that have only been performed live a few times in the past. The band's approach to this latest release, their eighth in total, is very simple. To keep everything fresh and contained in their sound, to look with curiosity at what their sound will be, to bring in elements that surprise each other, and to sharpen their own elements to the limit. The three members of Biffy Clyro have greedily tackled these points, which are very difficult to actually execute, to complete their latest work, "A CELEBRATION OF ENDINGS," which is a whirlwind of amazing soundscapes. On February 21, they released "Instant History," the latest track from the album, which showcases their explosive soundscapes, majestic synth sounds, and strong, powerful vocals. The song is a spacious and powerful blend of their explosive soundscape, majestic synth sounds, powerful beats, and stunning melody lines, and it has captivated the media and fans around the world, greatly increasing their anticipation for the upcoming new album. On March 5, another new song, "End Of," was released along with information about this latest album. While the aggressiveness of the old-school Biffy sound is at the forefront of the song, a piano break part suddenly appears, and a stunning riff exchange in the latter half of the song creates an unexpected uplifting feeling. This sound, which creates an unexpected sense of exuberance in the second half of the song, further drives the fans into a frenzy. Other highlights include the opening track "North of No South," with its Queen-like harmonies, and the cinematic strings of "The Champ" (the string part is played by Bruce Springsteen collaborator Rob Mathis, who is also a Bruce Springsteen collaborator), "Tiny Indoor Fireworks," which is a great rock anthem, and the gentle tones of "Space," all of which swirl with a sound that only Biffy Clyro could create. It should be noted that the closing track "Cop Syrup," in which the grandiose chaos of Biffy Clyro's esoteric rituals unfolds violently and sometimes beautifully, has an indefinable power that will leave you in a state of lethargy after listening to the entire album.
