Since their debut in 1978, the band's blues-infused hard rock sound has made them very popular in the UK, Europe, and Japan. Since their debut in 1978, Whitesnake, led by David Coverdale, the greatest rock vocalist of all time, has established themselves as one of the most iconic hard rock bands of all time, and has gained a huge following in the U.S. as well. After 35 years, the band's 1997 album "Restless Heart" is now available to the world in a newly mixed version. David Coverdale began work on his third solo album in 1995. However, due to pressure from his record label at the time, he changed his original plan and released the album "Restless Heart" in 1997 under the name David Coverdale & Whitesnake. Despite the change of name just before the release of the album, the album became a Top 40 hit in the U.K. and reached No. 10 on the album chart here in Japan, strongly impressing the public with its popularity. Surprisingly, the album was not released in the U.S., but now it will be released in multiple formats, including a 5-CD box set, finally making this masterpiece available in its official form around the world.This latest edition of "Restless Heart" will be available in four formats: a Super Deluxe Edition (4 CDs + DVD), a 2CD Deluxe Edition, a 1CD, and a 2CD 180-gram weight Silver Analog, which will be available only on import. The 2CD Deluxe Edition includes the latest remixed version of "Restless Heart" on Disc 1, which is a completely new work, with the order of the songs changed to recreate the sound that David Coverdale had envisioned when he was originally working on "Restless Heart". Disc 2 contains the latest remastered versions of the original album, including singles such as "Two Many Tears" and "Don't Fade Away," as well as three songs that were included as bonus tracks on the Japanese edition of the album when it was released in 1997, This is a great source of music for Japanese fans.
